Dr. Christie is a graduate of Lafayette College and Cornell University and was former vice-president of liofstra University. New York. To the president’s home on campus lie brought his wife. Sally, ami theii two children. Klleu and Thomas. In their first year. Dr. and Mrs. Chris-lii- maintained the tradition of the Fiesh ill Oil Tea. In general. Dr. Christie saw an expanding and changing college ns evidenced in increased enrollment, construction of a new library, dining hull, and dorms, and in the establishment of an unlimited cut system.
