Marching from the Kd Psj.h Building In Lyle Auditorium is the graduating class attired in caps and gowns. Com mencement Exercises Held May 24 At last tin pathways diverge and go off into the distance. The Baccalaureate ami Commencement exercises were held on the same day w ith Baccalaureate held in the morning with a luncheon for the graduates ami their guests and commencement in the afternoon. The seniors proceeded along the pathways for the last time on May 25 as undergraduates. Many memories will linger along these pathways and in the minds id those who walked along them. After four years of undergraduate study. 300 seniors received the Bachelor of Science degree, which qualifies them to teach in the state of Pennsylvania. I)r. I). Luke Biemesderfer presented the graduate- with their diplomas. Seniors enter Lyle Auditorium for commencement exercises. Millersville faculty incinliers enter the auditorium for Baccalaureate services.

Harriet Griffith, Carolyn Manning and jud McDowell. Joann Clouser happily accepts the Talent Queen award from Leon Gile. Student Council president. Spring Fling Weekend Heralds Final Exams The Spring Fling weekend sponsored by Student Council marked its opening with a Talent Show with Larry Shcnk us master of ceremonies. William Chandlers was chosen the winner of the extra talent competition for his presentation of the Warsaw Concerto . Friday evening's activities were culminated by the crowning of Miss Joann Clouser as talent queen for her dramatic reading of Patterns by Amy Lowell. On Saturday an all-campus picnic, which had to be held indoors because of the inclement weather, and the state college championship track event were the activities during the day. In the evening the annual Spring Fling dance was held in I hook- Hall. The crowning of Mary Noonan as Miss Spring Fling highlighted the dance and the weekend.
