Virginia Beck Dr. Beck, a member of the History Department, devotes most of her teaching time to correlating historical affairs with the literary aspects in the World Culture Course. Besides teaching history she enjoys reading historical novels and biographies. Dr. Beck received her B.D., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. She has been on the Millersvillc instructional staff for seven years. Away from school many of her interests center around her newly built home. She admits a weakness for the Ogden Nash type of nonsense, and chocolate, in any form. For the j ast four years Dr. Beck has guided the many undertakings of the senior class. Louis G. Jennings Mr. Jennings, though bom in New Jersey, resides in ILancaster with his wife and three children. A graduate of Franklin and Marshall and Duke, and currently working at the University of Pennsylvania toward his doctorate. Mr. Jennings came to MillersviUe six years ago as a member of the English Department. Included in his experience is service in the Army in Japan. He held the rank of captain. His interests include reading, music, and languages, and on the lighter side he enjoys good food, travel, eight o’clock classes, and last but not least, Jimmie Durante. As our class co-sponsor Mr. Jennings has been of great assistance to us in reaching our goal as seniors. 19
