The officers are: President, Beverly Moritz, Vice President, Dorothy Morfittg Secretary, Marilyn Martin, Treasurer, Nancy O'Briang Reporter, Kay Bigham. Mrs. Goldie Jones WaS the SpOl'1SOI', and Nlpg, Reg-S9 aggigtant sponsor. The Kayettes are proud to have received their 3000 point award last year. This year we are working toward the 1000 point award for the fourth year. Two girls attended Kayette camp at Rock Springs last summer. The girls that were chosen to go were Kay Bigham and Verna Belin. Both girls brought back many new ideas. They attended camp from August 12 to 16. Nancy O'Brian, Jackie Baugh, Peggy Scott, Susan Crowell and Mrs. Jones attended a Kayette Conference at Herington on October 14 and 15. They attended many group discussions, and general sessions. We adopted a needy family at Christnias time. The Kayettes brought food from home, and we bought a turkey out of the Kayette fund. The family was very pleased to receive the gift. On the afternoon of February 17 all the girls attended the Kayette Conference , at White City. Everyone had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the talk, Miss Wanda Mae Vinson gave on Rock and Roll . This year we sent 35. 00 to CARE, The money was distributed among ten foreign people. The Kayette Girls sent clothes to the Save The Children Federation , At one of the home basketball games the girls passed around a blanket and received 510, 50 for the Red Cross Fund.
