Milford High School Carnival On Thursday, October 2.8, at 7:00 P, M, the-annual Milford High School carnival opened its doors to the public for an evening of fun for all, The bingo stand was brightl decorated by valuable ifts donated th h Ri' g , by e merc ants of Junction City, Wakefield, and ilford, Two skits were given in the study hall using th G N' ' ' e ay ineties as the theme, The dart stand went out of business early in the evenin losing all its gifts to the good aim of the dart throwers, The country store reported an exceptionally good business this year having a steady line of customers rn st f th , o o e evening, The jail had its usual good busines , Even the sheriff was put in jail for dis- b . o eying the law, The three jailers worked very hard at their job and brought in as much business as the other concessions, The Wagon Wheel Cafe set up business in the music room for the evening with 1 p enty of pop, cake, candy, pie, coffee, and ice cream, Mr, Albert Puck won the beautiful heart- shaped cake made and donated by Arfie and Eva Condray, The door prize, which was a wool blanket donated by the Townsends store, was won by Mrs, Otto Strauss, Several of the younger children came masked to try to win the grand prize, Bonnie Rudolph was the lucky winner, All who were maked were given treats for their efforts, 8
