Wells once said, Civilization is a race between education and catastrophe, Today, perhaps more than ever before, mankind realizes that in the nation's youth lies the hope of the future, The world is contending not so much for manpower and physical prowess as for brainpower and mental dexterity. In this rush to develop intellectual talent as a means of self preservation there is a danger of over- emphasizing the pursuit of knowledge as an end in itself, Scientific aptitude may become more valued than moral rectitudeg scholastic ability more than moral integrity, Denver Junior Academy is dedicated to the symmetrical development of the heart, the mind and the body for useful service in this life and in the life etemalg for the infinite and eternal rather than the transi- tory and temporal. I am genuinely proud of the accomplishments of the students of Denver Junior Academy, We can not always predict success or measure potential but we can recognize the achievements of those who have gone forth from this institution of learning. Over the years they have established a reputation for Christian integrity and scholastic accomplishment which gives pride in the past, inspiration for the present and courage for the future.
