Lykins, the Mixed Chorus has grown until there are about 50 stu- dents enrolled, Out of this talented group have come girls sextette, girls quartet, girls trio and two boys quartets, there are also four soloists and mixed quartet, The Mixed Chorus has sung many idfferent types of songs, popular songs, old favorites, songs of worship and songs with a new and modern touch. Some of these are Dancing in the Dark, Skip to My Lou, Gloria in Excelsis Deo and Clouds. Contests have taken the Mixed Chorus all over the state to Stillwater, Edmond, O,C. U, and of course Tri State at Enid, Beautiful white sweaters and gold emblems were bought this year by the Mixed Chorus, The stu- dents seem to be very proud of these and they are worn at all the contests and music festivals, The officers for this year are: President, Ruby Ann Bowman, Vice President, C, L, Bass, Secretary and Treasurer, Pat King, Reporter, Kathryn Carling Librarians, Joyce Moore and Judy Hannon,
