Cr E-DIVISION Electrical Division provides many of the ser- vices most necessary to keep the Magic flowing in MIDWAY. The Power Shop supplies ventila- tion. Lighting Shop keeps the lights burning so the Magic never dims. Telex Shop brings people a little closer (via phone) and keeps the Magic flowing from shop to shop. Distribution takes care of the switchboards so MIDWAY can get underway. That ' s not Magic , just fact. After Gyro keeps the captain and OOD on station. Forward IC maintains alarms and indicators so the engineers can keep the plant himming. For- ward Gyro has Magic in sound powered phones which keep us talking so planes can refu- el and launch. The Flight Deck Lighting Shop keeps MIDWA Y visible so aircraft can land safely at night and in fog. The Avionics and Ordnance Shop provides power for planes and elevators. The Rewind Shop repairs motors for MIDWAY and Battle Group Alpha. The Galley Shop keeps the cooks happy so the men of MIDWA Y get three meals plus. At the end of a long day the movie locker provides magical movies of today, like The Longest Day ' , a great description of a typical MIDWAY day. The safety shop keeps MIDWAY safe, their work is never done. If electrical Mag- ic is needed give sparky a call. The magicians of E Division love putting on a show.
