Fox Division, composed mainly of fire control technicians and gunners mates, is primarily concerned with the protection of the ship through the use of its 5 f54 gun batteries. Four such gun mounts are strategicly located around the ship. The upkeep and maintenance of all the fire control equipment and the gun mounts themselves, results in a big job which is handled very well by Fox Division personnel.
