Out where the sun is a little brighter. Where the snows that fall are a trifle whiter. Where the bonds ' of home are a wee bit tighter. — That ' s ivhere the West begins. Whether it is the beginning, the ending, or the beginning of the end. Bulldogs are there. A game always calls for the bov. Cliff Averv to pin a special mum on his favorite girl. Patti Ricker (right). The last game for a .Senior brings a wistful longing for things not to end — Jennie Lang (left) exemplifies that special feeling. This year gave us several unexpected snows to go sledding, skiing or as Tommy Terrett and Jan Stapp (below) are doing — create their own original snow- man. 10

Reigning over all was ( )ueen Bonnie of the House of Matthews escorted bv King Tony of the House of Brown. Ladies-in-waiting were Jean East escorted bv Marc Lyons, Diane Weiner escorted by Scott Walker, Brenda Ross escorted by Chris Fiynn, Melda Adams escorted by Rick Bell, Priscilla Ellis escorted bv Thornton Hardie, and Deborah Hoelscher es(-orted by Jim Montgomcrv. Attending the Oueen were Janet Osborne and Jennie Lang as trainbear- crs and Ann Grimes as flower girl.
