The 1977 Queen of Hearts was held ai ihe M.H.S. gym at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. February 14, 1977. More than 60 girls competed for the title of Miss Queen of Hearn. Contestants were chosen in advance by their homerooms and clubs. They were judged on personality, poise, and beauty. A new feature in this year's Queen of Hearts was having the contestants model sportswear as well as evening wear. The contest. sponsored by the band and supervised by Band Director Randall Harwell, was an impressive success. The entertainment was provided by the M.H.S. Stage Band. Larry Adcock emceed the pageant. JUDGES: Mn. Nell Salamonc of Jefferson County Board of Education. Ms. Judy Jones of Mannequins, fnc.. and Mr. Cary Lcuon of Mannequins, Inc.
