This club Is affiliated with the Young Women's Christian Association of North America. The purpose of this club is to create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community high standards of Christian character. It has been one of the most active clubs in the school. Some of the club's projects were: a basketball game with the Y-Teens versus the women faculty, Christmas caroling for canned goods, and a party to collect Toys for Tots. Being the school's first HI-Y. the club hopes to set a precedent for the future Hi-Y clubs. TRI-HI-Y OFFICERS: Jane Moon. President: Linda McMeans.  F.H.A. OFFICERS Future Homemakers of America believes that the home economics program In the secondary school is the foundation on which its program is built. F.H.A. provides the framework in whicn youth-planned and youth-directed activities can be extended beyond the classroom to enrich learnings. F.H.A. provides opportunities for youth and adults to work cooperatively, cacn making his contribution without dominance of the other. Community and parental interest in understanding of the home economics program Is increased through activities In F.H.A.
