The Physical Education program at Midfield High is designed for the optimum development of the physical, mental, and social aspects of an individual through guided instruction and participation. Our first concern is to develop programs of health, physical education, and recreation which will contribute to the health and happiness of every student attending our school. We broaden our scope by participating in various interscholastic sports including girls tennis and competing annually in the District III volleyball and track and field meet held at Fairfield. Heads of the department are COACH BILL HARBUCK and MISS FREIDA HUTCHESON. Other teachers are COACH BOBBY FAIRLEY and MISS KONI KESLING.

Each student involved in the music program is expected to have interest in his or her particular field whether it be instrumental or vocal. With their interest we strive to complete a basic foundation of music from its beginning through advanced philosophies of music. It is our hope that each student taking a pan in the music program will be an advantage to any college or university he may choose to attend.
