Life - like a movie Write your own ending Keep believing and pretending. We did just what we set out to do. Thanks to the lovers, the dreamers, And you. - The Muppet Movie he radiant summer evening of June 13, 1979, seemed only fitting as a natural send-off for the first class that at- tended Middletown South for three consecutive years. As the procession moved through the east and west goals of South,s new foot- ball field, a capacity crowd acknowledged the Class of '79. The gathering was further excited by the per- tinent 'lto the point speeches of designated Seniors, the Board of Education President, Mr. O'Neill, the Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Schneider, and High School South Principal, Dennis Jackson. The orchestra, conducted by Joe Lawlor, added the music to the evening with aid from South's choral groups directed by Richard Ludlum. The evening, culminated by an or- derly recession, continued the South tradition of a memorable yearn. OPPOSITE PAGE - Graduation is a once in a life-time experience. Looking ahead and remem- bering past experiences. UPPER LEFI' - Dino Bochicchio prepares hurriedly for the big even- ing. UPPER RIGHT - Smiles loom apparent as diploma time approaches.
