'iStill crazy after all these years. - Paul Simon inding a new and unusual school event is often a difficult thing to do as the year progresses. However, the Junior Class and the Yearbook Staff conducted the first annual Almost Anything Goes in the Middletown South gym. With teams representing the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes, in addition to a weak Faculty team, the evening was filled with hilarity and en- joyment for all. The events included human wheelbarrels, trash can basketball, 'ilimbon skateboarding, hot wheel races, hula hoop relays, dolly pulling, three legged races, foul shooting, pyramid building, and a comical obstacle course. As the games progressed, the Class of '79 dominated to capture the first almost anything goes crown. It was a time when almost anything went . 'll should be dancin, yeah! 'iLife in the fast lane. ALMOST ANYTHING WENT 264 I can't get no-o-o-o-o, sa-tis-fac-tion.

Let joy be unconfinedg No sleep til morn, when Youth and Pleasure meet To chase the glowing Hours with flying feetf, - Lord Byron he Shreaton Gardens Motor Hotel provided a unique setting for Mid- dletown High School South's 1979 Senior Ball. With the theme We may never pass this way againw resounding throughout the minds of Seniors, the evening was spent consuming an ex- cellent dinner, partalting of the variety of music provided, and enjoying friendships established over a three year period. Several faculty chaperones and Senior Class Advisor, Florence Stein, were on hand to aid, the first class to at- tend South for three years, in making this a most memorable occasion. X TOP - Several members of the Class of '79 gather outside of the beautiful foyer of the Sheraton Gardens Motor Hotel.
