M-U' A..-an-r. 5 1 i 1'- into ? '9 Wi 6 G his years team is working just as hard as past South teams did. We showed great improvement over the course of the season. Pat Houston his year's Eagles Boys Basketball team finished with an outstanding record of 20-5. Coached by Pat Houston the Eagles once again were able to dominate Shore Conference op- ponents. The team was led by Captains John Benbrook and Jim Murray. Mike Fogarty, Arnie Baum and Dave Lynch rounded out the starting lineup. John Johnson, Mike Bennet and Justin Kalac filled in admirably when the starters needed a rest. The Eagles opened the season with ten straight wins. Among those victories was the Eagles third straight Bayshore Christmas toumament championship, along with a thrilling 55-46 victory over Neptune. Of the Eagles five losses three came at the hands of champion Neptune and one loss came against National power Archbishop Carroll. Over the course of the year the Basketball team provided some exciting memories that will not be forgotten.
