Homecoming Game The day every student waits for, the day we return to the mother ship, we show our indepen- dence from Middletown North. On November 22, 1979, Thanksgiving, we showed overwhelm- ing support for our great football team in in- numerable ways. Balloons were released, screams were heard, claps, boos, and pom-pons waved. But despite all of this, we lost to Mid- dletown North with a score of 21 to 10. Cries of anguish were heard amongst the Northemer's homs and joyous yelps, ascars flooded the long driveway of South. TOP LEFT - South's faithful fans show much enthusiasm against our cross-town rivals. TOP RIGHT - By the way Who's your date? MIDDLE - Washington was never like this. BOTTOM - Junior Exec. starts advertising early. OP- POSITE PAGE: TOP LEFT - I thought this was a homegame, TOP RIGHT - The Eagle Spirit rose to a still greater height.
