All things considered - we had a very successful year. We did not win all but we never quit and we had loads of fun. -Joe Eckart is year's tennis team finished with a record of 7 wins and 9 losses. The team was captained by first singles Lisa Byrne and 3rd singles Maureen Nipar. The team was led by Judy Bierschmitt who played second singles and finished with a record of f13-3l. The team showed the ability to pull most of the close matches out. Neptune, Raritan, Middletown North, Howell, Mater Dei and Brick all fell victim to the Eagle stringers. Rounding out the starting lineup were Robin Rebrik and Karen Kouvel played First doubles and Heidi Zeigler and Erica Peitler played second doubles. The team was competitive all year and they were never blown out of any match.
