PBM FBLA has had a busy year. What can be more inviting than the smell of popcorn on Tuesday afternoons? Remember the crazy trip to Iowa? five people in a room? and Mr. Relph play- ing pirate at Long Iohn Silvers? This year FBLA will compete in Regionals at LaFollette, State at Green Bay, and the National Convention in New Orleans. The group showed its talent when it went rollerskating and bowling with the FFA. Wouldn't it be possible to at least give a few points for gutter balls? Of course they'll all remember-MILK! Although they had some tense mo- ments, such as the mad race to the Hilldale post office, there were some fascinating extracurricular activities to help maintain the staff's insanity. Ieff provided the staff with his 101 interpretations of Hello Dolly! While, at the same time, the 1979 BELCH-OFF was being held. Food played an important role in the success of the staff's perfor- mance. Meetings usually began with Bill's entrance of I'm hungry. Who's going to get something to eat? and ended with Bonge's trips to McDonald's fwhere the now extinct cherry pie contained an aver- age of three cherriesj or to Ioey's Deli fhome of the infamous re-ap- pearing sausagej. Mona and MI sang their way to fame while Wiggy made her bid for the artist of the year. The photographers managed to endure through Tris' attacks of Suesutteritis and Rob's BIC OFF!! Thursday night orgies in the darkroom provided the well-deserved moments of relaxation for the notorious flashers All in all, the year came to a frezied close as deadline fever spread through the staff. At last report, head honcho Linley was headed for his new resi- dence in Mendota we hope he recovers. 73
