It is here that the prospective teachers from the college student body receive their first actual experience in the field of pedagogy. It is here that they begin their work with children in real situations. Here, also, an effort is made to give the children and the college students the best and latest in content and procedure. The Training TRAINING SCHOOL School endeavors to make its classrooms, its various activities, and its daily routine as nearly lifelike as possible. The school also strives to create for its students an atmosphere which is informal, free, and conducive to happiness and best effort. In this organiza- tion it is possible to seek and to bring to light the needs and desires of the students as individuals, as groups, and as a unified working body. The final aim is unitv of interests, opinions, and methods n jjroce- dure, both within the student bodv and be- tween the student l)odv and the facultv. Through the action of the three branches of government — executive, judicial, and leg- islative — every student is given the oppor- tunity to offer suggestions as to the best ways of accomplishing these aims.
