Through student government we are able to exercise those rights that we feel will be just and most advantageous to tile majority of the people on the campus. The .Associated Student Body was created in the ho])e that all students would participate to the best r)f their ability and that both the students and faculty would work together and bridge the gap tliat often exists between college studies and college activities. Student government oflfers excellent opportunities for free speech and expression of oljinion by the individual. This organization attempts to emliody the principals of democracy that have given jicople the incentive to achieve greater things.
