Xl Slii Q My P' National Scholastic Forestry Fraternity Xi Sigma Pi was founded at the Uni- versity ot Washington as a scholastic honorary for Forestry students in T908 and Beta chapter was installed at Mich- igan State in 1916. The organization has set a high standard oi aualiiications for membership, these including high scholastic standing and a reputation for honesty, sincerity and friendliness. Selec- tion of candidates is based largely on professional promise. The organization was responsible for the promotion of the Forestry departmentis student publication, Upine Needlesf, and members maintain an active interest in the Forestry Club.
