Student Grange was Founded in T928 as a subordinate division ol the National Grange, the world's oldest and largest farm organization, the purpose of which is to promote the interests ol Agri- culture and to provide a fraternal organization lor rural men and women to serve as a center of social activity lor the community. Any person interested in advancing rural education and activities is eligible lor member- ship in the local chapter. ln addition to regular meetings every two weeks throughout the school year, varied social activities are provided for the members, for the most part students registered in Agriculture and l-lome Economics. The organization strives to provide training in rural leadership in order that its members will be better able to assume leadership in community atlairs alter graduation.
