Works at Kendall Home
"Siestas" were not permitted in the
SNHS. Work highlighting the year in-
cluded collecting food at Christmas for
some needy families, aiding Spanish-
speaking children to understand Ameri-
can customs, and working at the Kendall
home.
Spanish National Honor Society proj-
ects involved cooperation with com-
munity agencies while helping members
to develop a fluency and comprehension
in Spanish.
Spanish students in at least their third
year of study having a 3.6 average in
Spanish and a 3.0 over all scholastic
average joined the club in January. Under
the supervision of Mrs. J une Kundtz and
Mrs. Joan Lueras, members enjoyed
Spanish films and guest speakers at meet-
ings.
Climaxing the end of the year, the an-
nual banquet honored graduating seniors.
Speakers touched upon what SNHS mem-
bers needed to expect when entering col-
lege and careers.
