Cooperation of this nature resulted in the air-conditioning of the auditorium of the new Miami Beach High School. parent-teacher association Members of the Parent-Teacher Association are always willing to lend Beach High a helping hand in the supply room and the clinic. As a member of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers, our P.T.A. is responsible for promoting adult interest in school functions. Its functions are guided by four aims, the fur- thering of the welfare of children in the home and community, the raising of standards of home life, securing high plateaus of training, and the unification of the efforts of the teacher and the public to obtain advantages in all phases of education. The P.T.A. is an integral and indispensable part of our school life.
