FRESHMAN CLASS The Freshman Class of 1950 51 elected from xts forty seven members the follow mg off1cers Loretta Martm presldent D1ckHerr1ng v1ce presldent and Lowell Hoff man secretary treasurer MarJor1e Klesewetter and Frank Rohman were student councxl representatwes Class advlsers were Mr Larson and Mr Stephenson For the all school Chrlstmas party ln December members of the class presented a pantomme of the story T'was the Nlght Before Chrlstmas Mlss Fox served as narrator Bob Hodel portrayed Santa Claus wxth Bob Mason as Rudolph the Red nosed Remdeer Other players were Carol Hagaman Jame Lancaster Juamte Bachman Jody Johnson and Jack Locker In November a magazlne campalgn was sponsored as a class progect The pr1ze for sellmg the most magazmes went to Donna Byerly A proflt of S116 was made A class party was held 1n the hlgh school audntorxum on November 10 The even mgs entertamment conslsted of games movres and square dancmg Clder and donuts were served for refreshments We attended a theater pa rty m Peorla on January 19 One of the blggest events for any freshman IS lmtxatxon The sophomores mducted the Class of 1954 1nto the realm of hlgh school students on the afternoon of October 6 As usual the freshles had to wear funny clothlng The part of the program enjoyed the most by the xmtators and the least by the 1n1t1ated was the stunts performed by the freshmen The program ended wrth a snack of cokes and candy bars Teachers were also xmtxated Mnss Pulaskl pulled Mr Etaugh xn a wagon as they sang a duet The best refreshments was saved for last Qf - v 9 1 s ' y ' ' ' J ' tv ' ' ll ' - x 1 ' - - y 1 x , . , .
