We Dedicate the 1968 Mesquite-0 to Mrs. Marie Avery Mrs. Avery is known to most of her students as 'cSeiora Profesoraf, She teaches her Spanish classes with enthusiasm and interest. More than her brilliant knowledge of the language, however, the Spanish students remember her pleasant smile and mild tempera- ment. Outside the classroom, Mrs. Avery takes on the task of a Student Council sponsor. She has worked hard with this organization, helping students with the activities and affairs of a student government. Mrs. Avery is also a counselor to her students as a class or as an individual. Because she possesses the qualities of a great teacher, and because she has used them so well, we proudly dedicate this yearbook to Mrs. Marie Avery.
