Without your teachers there could not have been extra curricular activities. They gave of their time to make your life a happier and an enriched one. There were your class and organization sponsors who worked for your benefit. Can you ever forget those teachers who took part in the All-campus party to help your class win the Gah Tso trophy or the sponsors who worked so hard to make your organization's dance a success. These show only one side of their work. Your fac- ulty also worked to make you better citizens. This was done through directing your learning. One of the things you will probably remember about your high school years is the tests. Oh, those tests! How many nights before exams did you sit up until all hours studying and crying about how hard your teachers made you work? Remember though, they did it for your good! Many of the courses offered to the students at Mesa High were special subiects. These classes gave you not only some vocational training, but also a chance to work with your hands. A number of the boys, who hope to become top mechanics and farmers, are products of the vocational department. KENNETH P. Hsvwoon novo c. Demon LYNEER c. SMITH uuwooo c.
