ogzf l .jwlegoer Probably one of the most difficult jobs on the campus is that of boys' counselor. And probably the most capable man for the job is Gail Horne. He is never too busy to listen to our problems and usually has a solution. Among Mr. Horne's many duties are running the attendance office, taking care of boys who get out of line, sponsoring the Boys' League Council and many others. Although he is qualified for a much higher type of work, Mr. Horne seems to be tied to the school by his interest in young people. We are fortunate to have him as our friend. Mrs. Freeman at work in her office GPA , 2 IHQI' Being Girls Councilor is no easy task, but Marvene Freeman handles the job easily and efficiently. She seems to have that special something which makes girls like to confide in her, and many problems are solved by her quick thinking and sympathetic nature. Aside from acting as a sort of second mother, Mar- vene helps arrange schedules, and tries to reduce tardiness and absences among the weaker sex. A person in this type of Work needs much time and patience, and a genuine interest in people and their welfare. Marvene meets these requirements.
