Her mission ls to provide logistics support to vari- ous unlts by transporting bulk petroleum prod- ucts, fleet freight, mail, and personnel to forces afloat while underway. Jumboization expanded her capabilities to include an increased cargo fuel capacity, ordnance supply, and drylreefer provi- sions. Menlmack is capable of providing three double probe fuel rigs to port and two single probe fuel rigs to starboard, delivering a maxi- mum of 900,000 gallons per hour of fuel. She is also capable of delivering cargo loads and per- sonnel via connected undenva y replenishment or helicopter vertical replenishment. Executive OHicer LCDR Nonna Lee Hackney LCDR Hackney is a native of Bradenton, florida and graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. She was commissioned in Aprll 1978 through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Program and was subsequently assigned to Naval Data Automation Command Washington, DC as an Economic Analyst She was assigned to sea duty onboard USS Proteus IAS-191 where she served as Damage Control Assistant and Engineer Officer. She then attended the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, CA earning a Master of' Science Degree in Operations Analysis. Following graduation from the Surface Warfare Officers School Department Head Course, LCDR Hackney was assigned as Engineer Officer onboard USS Yosemite IAS-191. Shore assignments included assignment to the Anned Forces Staff College first as a student and then to the Joint staff J-8, as an Operations Analyst. LCDR Hackney became Executive Officer of' USS Merrimack IAO-1791 in April 1991. Her personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and various service ribbons. I7 ffl' 'fill YAY?
