CDR Peter J. Healey Commander Peter J. Healey is a native of Washington, D. C. He holds a Bachelor ' s of Art Degree from Fordam University, New York city. Commander Healey was commissioned through OCS in September 1978. After commissioning, he reported aboard USS AUSTIN (LPD-4) as CIC Officer. In July 1 98 1 , he reported as Anti-Submarine Warfare officer and plankowner of USS GALLERY ( FFG 26). In November, 1 983, Commander Healey reported to the U. S. Naval Academy as an instructor of Naval Science. After completion of Department Head School, he reported to USS OBANNON (DD 987) as Combat Systems Officer. In August, 1 988, he transferred to the staff of Commander Destroyer Squadron FOUR. He report to the Naval War College where he earned an Master ' s in National Security Affairs. Commander Healey served as Executive Officer on board USS CALLAGH AN (DD 994) from October. 1 99 1 thru April. 1 993. In May. 1 993, he reported to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations. Commander Healey assumed command of USS MERRILL (DD 976) in September, 1997. Commander Healey ' s personal awards include three Meritorious Service Medals, two Navy Commendation Medals and two Navy Achievement Medals as well as various service and campaign medals. Commander Healey is married to the former Lynne Marie Orlowski of New Jersey. Mrs. Healey is a teacher with an MA in education. They have a son, Patrick, as seventh grader and basketball player. fr COMMAND9

CAPT(sel) Timothy V. McCully Captain (select) Timothy V. McCully, USN, was born in 1954 in Louisville, Mississippi. He graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi in 1 976 with baccalaureate degrees in political science and history. He was commissioned through Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) at Ole Miss. After commissioning, he was assigned as Damage Control Assistant on USS GLOVER ( AGFF- 1 ) until 1 979 when he report to the USS HARRY V. HILL (DD-986) as the Combat Information Center Officer. Following a brief tour as an instructor at NROTC University of Missouri, he returned to sea in 1 984, first as Operations Officer on board USS LYNDE MCCORMICK (DDG-8) and then as Combat Systems Officer on board USS GRIDLEY (CG-2 1 ) in 1 985. Subsequently, he transferred to the staff of Commander, Carrier Group One, making deployments on the aircraft carriers USS RANGER (CV-61 ) in 1 986 and USS CONSTELLATION (CV-64) in 1 987. I [e rep. irted to USS ENGLAND (CG-22) as Executive Officer in 1 989. In 1 99 1 , he moved ashore to Tactical Training Group Pacific. While at the Naval War College, he earned a Master ' s Degree in National Security Affairs in 1 994. Commander McCully commanded USS MERRILL (DD-976) from January. 1996 to September, 1997.
