ay. Students Katherine Hlidgins President Edka Holoman Second Vice-President Hazel Wiggins First Vice-President Catherine Fontaine Third Vice-President Yes, tlie Day Students are at it again. Don ' t you hear all that music and noise coming from the second floor of Johnson Hall? Into the two Day Student Rooms are stuffed food, bridge games and some eighty odd girls. Fully one third of our number has already earned one degree ( Mrs. ) , and the rest of us are working on it. This year has been a good one. Who of us can forget walking into our two rooms stripped of drapes and slip covers at the beginning of the year? Bandits? Robbers? Nope, just the cleaners. Throughout the fall we worked feverishly on homework, class activities, and the better game of bridge. The climax of first semester was reached with the wonderful Christmas caroling and our annual all night crazy mixed up party in the Hut. Such fun you never saw before. After the shock of exams was over, we helped elect our officers for 1958-19.59. and a fine bunch they are, too. Following our fun-packed spring holidays, we gathered to lay plans on how to win Play Day this year. Needless to say, the position and honor of the Day Stu- dents were upheld in this noble conflict. We really hate to see our seniors leave us, for they have been leaders of the school as well as the spark plugs of the Day Student organization. Our hope is that we can follow in the tradition of leadership and service to the school which they, and others like them, have left us.
