Delahanty have merited life membership in the M.I. by earning at least ill points through each of twelve school quarters. In a school of Mercy's size there are many tasks which fall to faculty, students, and staff alike. Those girls wearing M.I. pins are especially outstanding in responsibility and service. As Father Daniel Sullivan led the opening prayer from the Psalms, multi-colored lights suddenly glowed from the tree. While the Infant was placed in the crib, Father read Saint Luke's account of the first Christmas. To the glorious strains of Adeste Fidelis seniors returned to Barrett Hall for a Christmas assembly.
