student library assistants 818 B 743 5-Where is it? Where can I find out about the life cycle of the Japanese fuchsia? Student librarians are confronted with and solve such questions while on duty. This year thirty-seven students joined the newly-organized group of student library assistants for the purpose of learning and practicing library techniques. On November 2, the members, with Sister Mary Loyola, moderator, were hostesses to student librarians from other high schools who attended the all-day meeting here of Student Library Assistants of Northern California. c a m e r a c I u b In the darkroom after school, stealthy forms move back and forth from shortstop to fixerg the silence is broken only by the click of the printer, the soft slap of negatives in the basin, and occasionally by the startled cry, Don't open that door! . . . Sigh . . . At monthly meetings sixty members study camera skills and in lab sessions print and enlarge their photographs. LOOKING FOR A GOOD BOOK?
