They may act immature. But, when it comes to the game of basketball, these boys play like men. The i985-86 Boys' Junior Varsity Basketball team certainly acted more than their age while on the court. These precocious heirs to the great Ml hoop tradition promised good things for the future with their play now. The young squad, composed of six juniors, two sophomores, and two freshmen, possessed great size and rebounding ability. Ml boasted a stingy defense, which naturally led CABOVEP Eric Ensey, 534, rises above the crowd to score for two more. Of course, the poised Islanders snatched victory from most such contests. They're good competitors, praises Coach Dan Absher. They play better under pressure.
