Pep Club FANS en o'clock. A math final has passed. A biology final awaits. Sugartime! At times like these, when one's spirit has sunk to new lows, the MIHS Pep Club comes to the rescue. Whether by selling delicious donuts during finals or sending out pep baskets to various groups, these enthusiastic girls maintain a supportive feeling throughout the school. They play their games by cheering other players in other games. They play their games for us. Each member of the club is assigned to keep up the spirit of a particular sport or band. This important activity, however, rarely receives the thanks it deserves. The false image of bubbly and bubble- headed girls striving for popularity unfortunately plagues these quite hard-working Islanders. They are a congenial group of girls, praises advisor Jody Curran.
