Time for beddy-bye. Ah yes, the iunior year. The first ar of upperclassmanship. The cond year of driving. The third ear on the ladder to seniorhood. The year of pressure, the pressure f Perfection. This was your time, Class of I987. time for cars and colleges, omework and headaches, friends nd fears. You tried to fit all the ieces together before the buzzer, ut a stupid thing called sleep cut ou short. Don't go directly to iail yet, ough. The alphabet of PSATs, PCTs, SATS, APs, and ACHs may ave boggled your mind, dates with istory books may have supplanted curves mingled with late, late movies. Tuesday nights became synonomous with coffee for Amstuddersj And Friday nights? We-ell . . . What time? ll-4:3O. Wow, you beat me. I got three hours. But, despite the perilous pressures perennially present, the junior year did not lack its share of fun-and- games. The timer may have been ticking, but the pieces were definitely clicking. The cards were dealt. The Class of I987 played and caffeine may have become an everyday staple, but the game isn't over. lt's just beginning. Mommy, can I have a ride? Try again. UYO, Mom, l'm taking the keys. Now you've got it. For many, the Gull station became more than just Aa place to play video games, parallel brought on worse nightmares than any geometry test, and blue suddenly was a very unpopular color. And the value of Free Parking surpassed even that of Boardwalk. them. Chem parties. Trig parties. Tut And hopefully the hand was parties. Party parties. perfect.
