Fine Arts Showcase DOODLES very high school student has played Doodles during one boring lecture or another. However, such a silly game sometimes hides true artistic talent, as was proved this spring. Once again, Ml was astounded, amazed, thrilled, and surprised as the work of hundreds of artists invaded its eyes and ears at this year's Fine Arts Showcase. The schedule of evening events contained informal concerts by ensembles from the Elementary, Middle, and High schools as well as short performances by the drama classes. ln an effort to recognize outstanding talent, the Showcase spotlighted the winners of the PTA Reflections contest, and a musical program on the theme, Ulmaginings . . . Tales, Adventures, Legends in Music, delighted the audience's ears throughout the night. Featured from the high school were the Dixieland and Steel bands, the Choir, and the Symphonic and Concert bands while, on the other hand, the new art gallery and showcases held examples of work done in ceramics, textiles, jewelry, photography, and drawing and painting classes. Congratulations are definitely in order for the many fine artists at MIHSI No Etch-o-Sketch could have done a better job. Lu. W' ll ....,,-j 1 .ii lf' Q1 E 0 S 5 Q O .0 O. O . .
