What to do with those few, empty hours afterschool? Well, the answer has arrived, Intramurals! Through the magical properties of this activity, Islanders can not only study and hold a iob, but can become a member of a volleyball, three-on-three basketball, or regulation basketball team. Although the competition may seem like l'kid stuff compared to major- league sports, the games are always fun. Since the basketball league turned out so successfully this year, many other intramural teams also took shape. After great popular demand, the volleyball tournament got off to a fantastic start. Even a water polo team tested the waters of student interest. These high school students, who once thought it impossible to put a round ball in a hoop or hit a leather beach ball over a net, ably demonstrated the beauty of intramurals by taking to the courts in search of something new and different.
