ICTIVITIES What group can get three-hundred Islanders dancing to the song Tequila during a football game? What group puts together a literary masterpiece comprised of student's work? M.I.'s excellent athletic teams frequently overshadow activity groups such as the Marching Band and Pegasus. Il-lowever, these activities should not be overlooked as they are the backbone of the school. If it wasn't for Mi- Hi-Times, we would not have soap in the bathrooms! Without the Pep-Club there would be no cup cake-o-grams. And who would ponder the world's great political crises if there was not a M.U.N. club? It also must be admitted that if there was no ISLA staff, one could not be reading this. These groups represent the true Mercer Island High School. Members plan activities like movies potlucks, sports events, holiday parties, plays, and much more.
