To know when you're depressed a bit It may be hard but never quit For many a loser turns about When she could have won had she stuck it out The pressures there for all of us But we learn to cope with out a fuss We learn to take a lot of pains From injured knees to rips and sprains. Mahooney, Dana Kusakabi, Bogus Bill, Scott Mackay, jeff Taraday, Tim Danforth, Mike Lillie As usual, the 1984-85 season was quite successful for the Boys' Swim Team finished off the season with a superb 9-1 record. The one loss suffered was to Kingco Champions, Lake Washington. The Kingco tournament left the Islanders in third place despite the absence of key swimmer, Mike Wayte. The twelve-year record totals are 106 wins, I9 losses and one tie! The team also capped the Crest Division Title. The success of the team was due in large part to the enormous tur- nout of freshmen and sophomore swimmers. The size of the team, coupled with the qual- ity of the returning lettermen enabled the Islanders to swamp most opponents. The only threats came from other large teams such as Interlake and Lake Washington. DIVI
