S OPHO ORES Cool We fnally got behind the wheel. . . Mr. Dodge at our side. No more Parental Chauffering Inc. for dances or oth- er functions. Homecoming is a major event. Relationships are made through committees. No more stumbling through the Senior tunnel. . . just cruise up the ramp, out the entry hall doorsg cut through the lot, and into the mushroom fwe know our way around-welve been here one whole year.j For many girls, Sophomore year is the best. Older men fseventeen yearsj are abundantly available. Maturity is a big deal. Merrzbers ofthe opposite sex in our class are immature. Doing homework is immature. Buying regular lunch is immature. Going to Bel Square at night is radical. So is finding out where Denny 's is. This was a year of being tlie middle child. The conyqtsion of Freshman year was past us, yet, the responsibility of life in general didn lt erarnp our style.
