Cast and crew under faculty direc- tor, Mr. ,lay Caley, worked many months to make the presentation of 4LMuch Ado About Nothing similar to plays of Shakespeare's time. The sets were replicas of the Fortune Theater. The orchestra played instruments common in Elizabethan times, among them a harpsi- chord. Pre-performance entertainment included Madri- gal ballads and lively peasant dances. Student director, Emme Davidson, and student choreographer, Barb Cook spent long hours with the cast and crews insuring the play was performed on schedule. Mr. Gary Vaughn and the stage crew could be seen after school diligently build- ing the play's sets and backdrops. Mrs. Connie Lovejoy and Mr. Leon Bjarnason were also working and helping the people responsible for the production. Members of the make-up crew apply grease paint to nervous actors. Drama club officers were, ffrom left, Trish Nugent, secretary, John Rice, business manager, Teri Brown, president, and Todd Hagstrom, vice-president at the piano. Madrigal singers helped make the evening complete as they participated in the pre-performance.
