ADRIGAL DINNER 96 What may prove to be an annual tradition began in December with the Madrigul Dinner sponsored by the Alumni Federation and organ- ized by Emily Nlueklow and Grayson Van Camp. The Student Center lJt'1'iiIIlt? a 17th century manor decked with banners. The Mercer Madrigal Singers sang and danced, a brass ensemble played from the baleonies, Edith Silver played a bagpipe Serenade, the one hundred and twenty guests were entertained by a eourt jester, tumblers and a Christmas earol sing led by the lord and lady oi' the manor tTed Otten and Caroline Sweeneyj. Only one guest tried to eat the llaming plum pudding before putting it out. I1
