The Radio And Electronics Club Organized in February 1974, this club has equipped the Radio Room fET-3192 with technical equipment enabling its members to transmit and receive information with amateur radio hobbyists around the world. The club also gives its members opportunities to: lj learn material necessary to qualify them for amateur radio licenses. 22 bring them together to ex- change information of a technical nature. 3 2 repair, construct, design and maintain electronic equipment of all sorts on campus at their conve- nience. 4j socialize and to mix with each other and experienced faculty on an informal basis. Among its activities were two major trips, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Show KIEEEQ in N. Y.C. fspring 1974j and an outstanding guided tour of the David Sarnoff Research Center in Penns Neck Cfall 1974j. The membership of this club is open to all full and part time students attending Mercer County College. Regular meetings are held on alternate Thursdays-no dues are collected.
