radio, television, professional sports; and the isolated Little Red School house of one class room is largely replaced by a huge building with gym, laboratories, auditorium, shops, athletic field, and other aids to education. The high school student of today must be similarly advanced beyond the student of 1849. The conditions of the present require it. Good citizenship, the fulfillment of good education, can he accomplished for our time only as students match earnest endeavor and high ambition with the available school facilities. Mr. Ellis M.
