ARTICLE I To our teachers we bequeath our sincere appreciation for the kindness, the helpfulness, and the consideration given us in the past twelve years. ARTICLE II A- To the class of 1956 we will our thoughts and memories of Menno-Union High School, the privilege and the worries of publishing the 1956 Kishaco-Quill. B- To the class of 1957 we bequeath our willingness to work together and our loyalty to M.U.H.S. C- To you the class of 1958 we will all the fun we have had in the past four years of High School and remind you to mix study with pleasure. ELASS Ppopngqy X 2 The other night I had the strangest dream. Idreamed that a reunion of the class of 1955 was to be held in the new Menno-Union High School auditorium on August 31, 1965. But by a con- incidence each one was too busy to attend. Then, I visioned receiving a telegram from each one in which was stated the sender's occupation and reason for his absence. Ten years had brought about many changes in the lives of my classmates as their telegrams indicate. Leading dramatic soprano Metropolitan and Chicago Opera Companies. Sing Marguerite to-night. Betty Crownover As an astronomer, am studying the heavens at seashore with beautiful girl assistant. Stargazing date to-night. Charles Corbin Being an architect, I am designing filling stations and halls of fame for the government. Working overtime at big pay. Charles Kester .T ust joined the Navy to see the world through a porthole. Shall think of you all in every port. .T oe Griffith Am private secretary to the head of a huge corporation: will not be able to attend. Mone Stewart Am missionary tothe cannibal islands, wherel am teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic, and how to prepare good food properly. Ruth Ann Yoder Am manager of Brooklyn Dodgers. Big game tomorrow. Jim Fultz As head chemist in a laboratory am busy working on new experiment. David Price Am a Chautauqua lecturer on Beauties of Nature and The Value of a Srni1e. The Smile due tonight. Sally Garrett Civil engineer. Tunneling Rockies to shorten trip to West Coast. Chester Peachey Am head nurse in the Lancaster General Hospitalg sorry unable to attend. Nancy Yoder Conductor on the Broadway Limited and doing it solely to meet famous baseball players. Bill I-Iaffly Am a farmer. Raise winter wheat and summer squashes. Can't come because am busy with harvest. Marlin Peachey Arn an usher in big movie theater. Only way to see all the shows. Howard Treaster Am starting a series ot evening dancing classes tonight, so am unable to attend reunion. Marcia Zook My dream was rudely interrupted by the alarm.
