Under the direction of Coach Carter, the team came in second in their league, beat- ing many good teams. Many players will go on to play Varsity next year as a result of their quality playing.

Soccer is a sport where everyone must play as well as everyone else on the team. The team is only as strong as its weakest player. Obvi- ously the quality of this year's play- ers was outstanding. Soccer was big at Menlo this year, and will be even bigger next year.

GO TO WAR , a tradition that has been part ot Menlo Basketball since the coming of Coach McCook. This year the team again went on the warpath, blasting almost every- one they met. The Acorns, with their 6'8 super-center Dick Dohrmann, compiled a 20-7 record, while Dick set the career scor- ing record with 1,098 points. Other senior players, Crockett, Hudson, Conlan, Schreck, Askey, and McPhauI, with their constant efforts and dedication, have made Menlo B-Ball what it is today. 76 N. .
