In I-aet. during the past year. the record of the seventy'-nine sophomores would indicate that their elass is an active one. During the tirst te-w' months of sehool. the sophomores successfully' carried out sarious money'-making schemes which they had learned the year before. Their concession stand at a football game brought them dividends as did the sale of maga- zines. The sophomores were close rivals to the freshmen and went over the top in this ienture. no doubt because they overheard the seniors bemoaning the tact that their elass treasury' was at low' ebb. 'lhe football season saw' the sophomore boys on the tield playing and driving hard- some on the Varsity' and others on the junior Trojan team.
