JOE GONSALVES Transferred From Sir Francis Drake San Anselmo. California Debate Basketball T hi;ip a) ? Senior Horoscope We've searched through the stars-circled twice around Mars. We've probed into the characters of geniuses and dopes, and now we've come up with the senior's horoscopes. As you read each horoscope, picture the seniors thirty years from now-the year is 1991. As we prove along the first person we see is Mr. Brasket. Clyde spends his time swirling around the earth in his jet propelled motor scooter. While swirling he happened to see Marlene Evans whom he reports has become the Skinniest Lady tdo - in a world renowned circus. While he is over New York he sees one of Joe Gonsalve's stores. He reports that Joe has become the world-wide manufacturer of bird leg pants. He owns a network of stores in all parts of the hemisphere, which sell only Bird Legs. Joe tells us that one day one of his old classmates came to buy a pair of bird leg pants. She was none other than Helen Kiefer. While talking he learned that Helen at 48 had become the world's greatest wine brewer - zymurgy is her business. Joe also learns from Helen that Ralph Eagle now travels everywhere with Khrushchev. His voice has become famous as he translates for Khrushchev over radio and TV. Helen also relates that Carol Lang has become the heroine of the universe; she recently saved deGaulle's grandson from being struck by a falling meteor. As we probe along again we see Clyde Brasket in the distance. He comes swirling in at a very great speed. He relates that Skip Johnson has a world famous baseball team of his own, called Johnson's Earwigs. Skip got to talking to Clyde while swirling by. He told him about three other mighty seniors. Skip says he heard an explosion the other night and found out that it had been Angie Hinojos. He told Clyde that Angie and Steve have been happily married for years. Steve was very proud not long ago when Angie appeared on TV for having clobbered Patterson's nephew, a great middleweight champion (the nephew will never fight again). Clyde reports that Howard Koskela has a new name, Howard Bunyun. He recently discovered a fine remedy for killing those painful bunions. Skip happened to see Howard one day and from Howard he learned that Rosalie Mathews is now very famous. She discovered a new wonder drug for keeping people's teeth from being like stars and coming out at night. We have learned quite a bit about our senior class and so far they have all proved to be mighty. Let's continue on into time and see what the rest of the senior class is doing. While attending a new year's party on the moon we've come across a few more seniors. We find that Frank Freitas joined the foreign service while still quite young. He is now held in high esteem by all Americans, because of the wonders he has done in giving the peoples on other planets a true picture of the United States. Who is this coming towards us, why it is none other than Elizabeth ForsythrSbe, 8rt7, has been married five times so far each ceremony was performed on the moon and each divorce took place on a new space station noted for six day divorces. Elizabeth tells us about another mighty senior none other than Carleen Whited. Carleen this year, of 1991 is more famed than ever. For years now she has been noted for her immense strength. She has been flinging rockets into outer space for some time, just this year she hit Pluto. As we draw near the U. S. again we see Rex Hutchens as the president of the United States. He and his wife Mrs. Arlene Hutchens have been wel- comed in every country known to mankind. Under Rex the world looks for peace. Let's drop in and talk to Rex for awhile. Rex tells us that Carol Spring is still struggling to rid herself of that awful red hair. In 1984 she established a dye factory and throughout the years has had her hair every known color, but the red always stays underneath. A while back she shaved her head; but she still hasn't given up experimenting with dyes. Rex goes on to say that Rito Esquivel has had a wonderful life. At 47 he won the Nobel Trick prize with his marvelous acting fleas-he spent years educating them. Now he says he intends to give up the train- ing of fleas and work to discover a new flea repellent. Not many seniors stayed in dear old Mendo but we have one loyal soul, none other than Irene Cagle. Irene has become the Principal of Mendocino Union High School; she has revised the whole system, no more homework is given. Her motto is eat, sleep, and be merry. According to Rex his number one man is Larry Powell. Larry has become Secretary of the Defense Program. Under him there will be no world war five I'm sure. While reading in the newspaper I came across two very important seniors. One was Mike Enochs. Mike was the first man to reach Venus. He now owns about half of it with his ever producing Venue oil. The other article was on Bill Gorr. Bill has become the baby sitter for Kasauubiu's grandchildren. It's a high paying job. Last but not least I found Dale Iversen very well off at this time. It's been said that he's a billionaire, but he must have more than that - in investments. He owns some sort of property in every country in, and out of the world. I hope this gives a clear picture, to all interested, of what has become of the mighty 1961 senior class. Whited Spring 13
